Wednesday 13 Bring the Halloween Thrills & Chills to the Machine Shop

Halloween season is here. The leaves are turning, spooky things are showing up your neighbor's lawn and creepy bands are playing all over town. Saturday night, Wednesday 13, one of the best played a fiendishly, dark set at Flint's the Machine Shop.

Wednesday 13

Local band, Shadow of the Talisman, opened the show with a set of scream worthy heavy metal filled with tight tempo changes.

Next up, Above Snakes, entertained fans like it was 2004, with a nu-metal edge and a fun medley of hip hop classics, including "It's Tricky."

Wednesday 13 closed the night with a memorable set that included new and older material, opening with "When the Devil Commands" and rolling into Murderdolls "Summertime Suicide." It wouldn't be a Wednesday 13 show without some wicked stage props. Tonight's included Wednesday doing his best Malignant interpretation, decapitation and throwing out candy to the crowd. The enthusiastic crowd praised the band as they sang along with devil horns held high.
