Squeeze, Adam Ant and Haircut 100 Bring the Old, New, and True to Detroit

With a stacked line-up of 80's favorites, Squeeze, Adam Ant and Haircut 100 played entertaining and memorable sets at Detroit's Masonic Temple.

Performing their last set on this tour, Haircut 100 made the most of their opening slot by playing a few songs from their excellent new album, Boxing the Compass. They followed it up with 3 of their best and biggest hits from their classic album,  Pelican West. They closed with "Favorite Shirts," as Squeeze playfully joined them on stage.

Adam Ant came on next, with so many hits, Adam chose a lean set from all his best albums. The set started off a little shaky but came together strong with "Desperate but not Serious." The dual drumming packed a powerful rhythm and as a whole his band were tight and loud.

Closing the night was Squeeze with a stage full of fine musicians. They played some of their favorites at the beginning of their set then rolled into the meat of their set and performed their new album Trixies in its entirety. They extended their set and went back to their hits that brought the crowd back to their feet to sing along.
