Avenged Sevenfold and Good Charlotte Rock Pine Knob
Avenged Sevenfold and Good Charlotte rocked a sold out Pine Knob on Tuesday night. The night opened up with a special performance of Statica, Avenged Sevenfold's latest surprise glitch-synth album. The band hid behind the giant LED board as a stunning visual display of artwork accompanied the music.
The night continued with Good Charlotte taking the stage. After a 10+ year absence from Michigan, the twins Benji and Joel Madden brought all the fan favorites, like "The Anthem," "Hold On," and "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous." Then the stage was set for Avenged Sevenfold. The metal veterans belted out a variety of hits from their 25+ year catalogue, kicking off the set with "Nightmare" and continuing with "Bat Country" and "Hail to the King."
