A Double Double Dose of They Might Be Giants for Detroit

Geek Rock legends They Might be Giants played 2 amazing nights at the Majestic Theatre in Detroit on April 28 and 29th. Photoing the second night, Johns Flanburgh and Linnell, along with Danny Weinkauf, Dan Miller, Marty Beller, Dan Levine, Stan Harrison Mark Pender, started the night with the 1988 smash record “Lincoln” almost in its entirety. After a brief intermission, the band continued with a complication of tunes spanning the last 30+ years, including “till my head falls off” off the Factory Showroom album, “Fingertips” from Apollo 18, “Older” from Long Tall Weekend, and so so many more. A 31 song setlist, 2+ hours, 2 encores, and the crowd were sent home happy.
