Steel Panther and the Violent Hour Unleash the Fury!

This was my first time at Flint's legendary Machine Shop and I couldn't have picked a better show! Opening the show was the Violent Hour, a new hard rocking band fronted by Carla Harvey of Butcher Babies and more recently, the Lords of Acid. They played a rollicking set of tunes from their recent EP's including "Hell or Hollywood" and "Sex & Cigarettes." They are definitely a band that you should check out if you get the chance.  Steel Panther have played Machine Shop many times and I have several friends that have seen them and say they never disappoint. Tonight was no exception. In front of a sold-out crowd, they cranked up the volume and played raunch-n-roll as only they can. They played all the favorites and strutted their stuff while the dancers on each side of the stage did the same. It made for a memorable night and put the Machine Shop on my list of venues to visit again.
