Purity Ring Dazzles Detroit wsg MMJ

The last time I saw Purity Ring was around 10 years ago. I remember that show like it was yesterday because I told myself I’m not sure I’ll see a show with that unique of a stage set again. Well, after seeing Purity Ring at Saint Andrews last night I can say I have seen a stage set even more unique and beautiful! Corin plays the music on this custom, lighted pad instrument, Megan sings majestically in the back while visuals magically pop out in front and in back of them. Keeping the show for themselves, Megan opened with her MMJ project performing some songs acoustically. Purity Ring took over after that, playing a full set of 20 songs covering the best of their releases. They have that rare, perfect combination of sound, voice and vision and it’s on full display this tour.
