Galactic Empire and NiNi unite their Dark Forces at Sanctuary

Galactic Empire play what they call "cinemetal." It's a fantastic fusion of cinematic themes with a heavy metal sound. It's also the name of new album. Galactic Empire play with the Star Wars myth in their dress and sound which has their own take on many of the songs from Star Wars and a few other heroic movies. Their performance Sunday at Sanctuary was packed with fun and excitement with a lot of crowd interaction. Opening the show was NiNi who plays another kind of unique metal with Asian influences. She also throws in covers like "Beat It" and "Crazy Train". It's my second time seeing NiNi this year and if they came a third I'd make sure to see her again.
