Boy Jr., KOPPS and the Idiot Kids at Lager House

It seems like everyone I knew was at the NIN show on Friday night and from what I hear it was a blast. I checked out a different show on Friday in a show of support for local and up and coming bands at the Lager House. The Idiot Kids are a local band that I have heard a lot about but never seen. They play hyper-accelerated punk melodies with a great stage presence. KOPPS from Brooklyn was next with an energetic, indie pop set that had awesome choreographed dance moves. The singer really gives everything to every song leaving the crowd exhausted and exhilarated for the next song. Boy Jr. closed out the night with a set of unique indie pop that included lots of audience participation.
