An Intimate Evening with The Mountain Goats at The Majestic

Indie folk trio, The Mountain Goats, took to the stage at the Majestic in Detroit on Monday night. Mixing an hour plus of classics, fan favorites, and a few tracks off their upcoming album, “Through This Fire Across from Peter Balkan”, singer/guitarist John Darnielle, drummer Jon Wuster, and every other instrument player Matt Douglas played to the hundreds in attendance in the beautiful, historic theatre. The crowd really came alive as the first few notes of “The Best Ever Death Metal Band in Denton,” strummed across Darnielle’s guitar. Hail satan!
